For the past few days, we have acknowledged our sins, confessed them, and asked God’s grace for forgiveness, presented ourselves as living sacrifices, started the covenant life, and allowed the Holy Spirit to lead us.
Now, while living in this world, we realize we cannot force every situation to be good or every environment to be perfect. Temptations will still occur just as they always have, perhaps even more frequently now.
There is an old saying: "You cannot stop a bird from flying over your head, but you can stop it from building a nest in your hair." We must renew our minds in such a way that, no matter what is happening around us, we do not allow those things to take root inside us.
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” — Romans 12:2
All we need to do is ask God to transform our way of thinking. That is the key. Our ultimate goal is this:
“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.” — 2 Corinthians 4:16
Practically speaking, today’s meditation requires regular workout. Our minds do not quickly or easily synchronize with spiritual thinking.
In machine-learning terms, we say that, ‘The model should be trained with appropriate parameters and constraints, we can ensure that its outputs align with our objectives.’ In the same way, we must train our thinking with the right parameters(ie eyes, ears, and tongue).
so the conclusion of the today is, are we going to do workout on our own ?.
Yes providing good parameter is ours and the same time, "Holy Spirit Helps us in our weakness"
